Motherhood is meant to be rooted in community.
At Materniana, we’re rebuilding the village, with real moms, real connection, and radically accessible support for every season of motherhood.
Whether you’re in the fog of postpartum, chasing toddlers, juggling work, or just feeling off, you belong here.
We offer free, expertly designed mom groups that are warm, welcoming, and grounded in reality.
No judgment. No pressure. No gatekeeping.
Just connection, solidarity, and the kind of support every mom deserves.
Because too many moms are struggling in silence. Because loneliness has become the norm. Because the village disappeared, and we’re rebuilding it. And because free doesn’t mean low value. It means we care enough to make high-quality support truly accessible. Motherhood can be overwhelming, and many moms often feel lost in the process. At Materinana, we make sure you feel seen, supported, and empowered. Our community is a space where you can connect, thrive, and grow—together with other moms who truly understand.”
Materniana isn’t run by professionals in offices. It’s run by moms, for moms. Every group is powered by real moms - just like you. Our volunteers aren’t professionals. They’re peers. We keep the lift light: short training, simple tools, and full support. No one’s expected to have it all figured out. Just the heart to show up.
I’m Kate, a mom with a PhD in Clinical Psychology and a background in research and therapy focused on mothers.
Before becoming a parent, I spent years confidently helping build clinics and leading programs for underserved communities.
Having my daughter changed everything.
Despite my professional experience, I still felt alone, uncertain, and unprepared for how intense motherhood can be.
My mom showed up for me at that moment - and it made all the difference.
Materniana was born from that experience: the deep need for support, and the power of receiving it.
A place where moms feel heard, supported, and never alone in what they’re carrying.
Because motherhood is too big to manage alone.
And you shouldn’t have to.
Materniana was built by a mother - and supported by hers.
My mom helped me through my own transition into motherhood. Now, she’s helping me build this platform.
While I lead the vision and community, she brings decades of experience in business and caregiving, helping behind the scenes.
Because even building a support system requires one.
That’s what Materniana is really about: women showing up for each other, across generations and across every season of motherhood.
